Note from the publisher:
Greetings to anyone who reads this weekly newsletter!! I hope this is a helpful resource to stay abreast of the latest developments in Japan and an entertaining list of news that interests a wide range of readers. My aim has been to be both informative and professional in the way I compile the news every week. I’ve continued this work diligently for over 16 weeks now, but unfortunately, this week’s newsletter (again) will not be published in the same format as the last sixteen editions.
Going forward, editions will not have a full web version or a translated version in Japanese. Please look at the PDF below for this week’s newsletter. It will be slightly longer than the usual condensed versions but I promise it is all noteworthy content!
As usual, the document has bookmarks so you can skip over sections that are not of interest. This week, there is a significant portion that focuses on Prime Minister Suga’s decision to step down and the potential candidates who might replace him.
