This is the 10th post introducing candidates in the Tokyo governor race.

Check the other candidate profiles using these links: Koike; Utsunomiya; Ono; Yamamoto; Sakurai; Komiyama; Takemoto; Nishimoto; Sekiguchi.

The goal of these profiles is to get readers to know all the candidates on one website. I want to help people find information with minimal effort.

This post will focus on Seiichi Oshikoshi and his policies.

2020 Policies

  1. Overcoming COVID-19
  • Provide financial assistance to industries that have been hit the hardest
  • Open an inquiry into the outbreak & ask for compensation for damages
  1. An open Tokyo government
  • Create a government for many, not the few
  • Ensure a safe Olympic Games
  1. A future where there are no group (gang) stalkings online
  • Acknowledge that cyberbullying is increasing
  • Request that the national government enact legislation addressing these issues:
    • Gang stalkings online
    • Cult religious groups & public authority
    • The suspected surveillance of nationals by immigrants
    • The need for a supercity
    • Harmful effects of 5G
    • Use of illegal radio waves
    • Torture using electromagnetic waves (cyber crime)

First Impressions

  • Probably the only candidate that asks for compensation from whoever is responsible for COVID-19
  • I agree that there is a need to address online bullying
  • The 3rd set of policies need to be fleshed out (ex. what is torture using electromagnetic waves?)
